Based in Bethesda, Maryland, Diego Calderon leads Washington Home Mortgage Corp. as founder and guides an experienced team of retail mortgage loan originators. With an emphasis on maintaining long term relationships with realtors and builders, Diego Calderon has consistently expanded the firm into new markets and territories.

Mr. Calderon studied Economics at the University of Maryland in the late 1980s and has more than a quarter century of experience serving on advisory councils to national banks. Co-Founding Washington Home Mortgage in 1998, he oversaw employee hiring and training aspects of operations, and was successful in developing a highly motivated staff.

Over the years, Mr. Calderon has worked closely with Mortgage Processors, Closers, other WHM staff and his internal workforce to attain outsized results and complete transactions in a timely and efficient manner. A respected presence in his professional community, Mr. Calderon has served on the board of the Maryland Mortgage Brokers Association.
